I attended a birth this week and stood there and heard a doctor tell a mom that there was absolutely no risk to one of the drugs listed on the post that I'm including and that it would not get into her breastmilk. Hmmm.....Fortunately in this situation the drug was given after birth so the baby was alert at birth and nursed immediately. No sleepy baby syndrome here.

Even though I hear this kind of thing over and over, it never ceases to amaze me that it goes on.

Do your research. Make your own choices. Is a supposedly pain free birth really worth the risk?
